4 Day Wildlife Tour – Volcanoes and Nyungwe National Park
Day 1: Arrival in Kigali
On arrival into Kigali International Airport at the arrival gate you will be met at the arrival gate by an Akagera Aviation representative who will be holding on board who will guide you to VIP lounge to relax and have a soft drink while he goes to collect your luggage and get your travel documents the Akagera Aviation representative will then escort you through customs to our drive guide who will transfer you to volcano national park passing through the rolling hills and breathtaking landscape, Check in at your accommodation rest and prepare for your upcoming gorilla trekking adventure.
Day 2: Gorilla Trekking
Early morning after having your breakfast depart at 06:00 Am for your gorilla trek in in kinigi at the park headquarter for briefing by the park rangers on the rules and regulation concerning Gorilla trekking Hike through the forest with your guide and group to locate a gorilla family. Spend approximately one bhour observing and photographing the gorillas your camera must not have a flash because this can trigger a violent reaction once you’ve found them. Back out the forest having your packed lunch. Return to your accommodation for relaxation and overnight.
Day 3: Golden Monkey Trek transfer to Nyungwe national park
Early morning after having your breakfast depart at 06:00 Am for your golden monkey trekking in kinigi at the park headquarter for briefing by the park rangers on the rules and regulation concerning the playful golden monkeys in Volcanoes National Park.
Afternoon transfer to Nyungwe Forest National Park in the southwest of Rwanda. Check in at your lodge near Nyungwe Forest.
Day 4: Chimpanzee Trekking and Departure
Early morning at 4:30am depart for chimpanzee trekking which are most easily seen in the early morning hours after taking your breakfast you will be allowed one hour with them taking pictures and enjoy the adventure, after trekking you will take your lunch and proceed in an exciting canopy walk which is suspended 70 meters above the forest with the beautiful view of the forest and you will have chance to see numerous species in the forest later return to the hotel for dinner and overnight.
